I have decided that the Alligator Clip, a common office accessory, is the Best Invention Ever. They come in about seven different sizes, from practically microscopic to gargantuine, so you can hold any number of things together. They’re stronger than chip-clips for all your bag-closing needs; their handles can stand up for easy access or lay against the paper for a professional, final-draft look. They don’t become warped and loose the way paper clips do (not to rag on paper clips, because they have an amazing range of uses themselves).
